ROC  GALÁPAGOS  BIOLOGY

This program offers a unique opportunity for hands-on field  research experience, coupled with strong conceptual background in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation. The series of courses is designed for students to develop and execute field experiments in the Amazon and Andes (mainland Ecuador), and in the Galapagos Islands. Students take one course at a time, allowing them to focus on one specific course and interact extensively with their professors while mastering the course topics. To immerse students in Ecuadorian culture and provide an opportunity to master Spanish, students will live with host families in the mainland and in Galapagos.

ROC Galapagos has launched!! The first batch of 11 U of R students are immersed in the field this semester!
