I’m a class of 2026 student majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in environmental humanities. I joined the Uy lab in Fall 2023 to study the influence of abiotic and biotic factors on sexual selection in satin bowerbirds under the mentorship of Dr. Uy. I am currently investigating how environmental conditions predict the utility of parasite load as a signal of mate quality. I am excited to see how this project evolves and learn more about the methods and statistical analyses used in ecology research.
